Eric Weinberg, DMD
Born and raised in Westfield, Dr. Weinberg is a graduate of Brandeis University, and graduated Cum Laude from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he received his D.M.D. degree.
After returning to New Jersey to complete his General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, he then proceeded to serve the Union County community as a general dentist for an additional year. Dr. Weinberg then completed his training at Rutgers University, where he earned his specialty Certificate in Endodontics (root canal treatment).
Dr. Weinberg is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics (ABE). This is a distinction achieved by only a very small percentage of endodontists. To learn more about the Board Certification process, please click here.
Dr. Weinberg is currently on staff as an attending at the prestigious Newark Beth Israel Medical Center’s general dentistry residency program, and is currently serving as the President of the Union County Dental Society (UCDS).
Dr. Weinberg has been trained in modern Endodontics, including use of the dental microscope, Cone Beam CT (CBCT) three-dimensional radiography, up-to-date surgical techniques, CBCT-guided endodontics via 3-D printing, and use of the Biolase Waterlase dental laser.
Dr. Weinberg is also a published author in the Journal of Endodontics, where he researched the frequency of finding unique anatomy in lower molars. His research article can be found at this link.
In his free time, Dr. Weinberg enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter, playing softball, and traveling.
